My mom's awesome famous 7 layer chip dip that is simple yet sure to wow your guests who will flock to your event when they hear this dip will be there.
Ingredients
Directions
- Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning in small bowl.
- In another small bowl remove flesh from avocados and mash, then add lime juice and garlic salt.
- In a 13 x 9" serving pan or two 8" round pans evenly spread refried beans, I use the back of a large spoon.
- Spread avocado mixture on top of refried beans layer.
- Spread seasoning mixture on top of avocado layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese to cover top of seasoning layer, top with diced tomatoes, sliced olives and sliced green onions.
- Serve with tortilla chips, use lime flavored tortilla chips for an even bigger hit!

I make it just like this, except I use 1 pint container (16oz) of light or non-fat sour cream. No mayo. It is absolutely delicious!
