I'm switching to weight watchers as Atkins is to much for me to maintain for now. I feel like a failure everytime I have a carb and I find myself in a bad cycle right now. I plan to follow WW, but also keep it low carb. Refusing to give up, but recognizing my limits right now.

I think that's a great plan - I've never understood the whole Atkins craze - seems far too restrictive to me. I think plain old calorie counting with plenty of veggies and protein and a focus on more whole foods than processed is the simplest way to go!

Yes - I totally agree with Erika2633. SO much fat on Atkins in some of the proteins. etc. (bacon and cream? really?) I would not lose on that at all. My carbs are fruits and veggies and whole grains - seems more reasonable to me. Good Luck! HCB

Good luck...some people just can't eat those grains. We instead eat lots of green veggies, protein, and fat. It works for us.

Good luck! Happy to see you are still motivated and not giving up.

I'm doing the same~wonder if it'll work. For me the best thing about Atkins in the black and white nature of it. The food either is something I can have or not. I miss the fruit too much. I don't know WW too well but I think veggies and fruits are endless, right? Good luck to you.
