With the structure of a diet I can manage my eating with minimal challenges. When I step outside that structure I am simply incapable of controlling the amount of food I eat. I have obviously never developed much self-control here. When you're young you can eat virtually anything without consequence... and, perhaps, that's the issue. You develop food eating habits at a time in your life when your metabolism is at an all time high. Adapting, especially to the amount and kind of food you're used to eating, is hard. Ever onward!
