Down to 138 lbs, so the end to my wobbly-jelly tummy is in sight. My waist measurement today was 31-1/2 inches, so I've lost 5-1/2 inches off my waist since Jan 2016. Skipped breakfast yesterday and today to see if that speeds things up.

Don't skip breakfast or starvation mode will get you storing weight and slowing your metabolism down - well done!

Good point Cassimc and I'll probably go back to eating breakfast again soon. Mindyou, if my body thought I was starving, it soon changed its mind when I had two roast dinners (:

I wouldn't worry about starvation mode kicking in if you're just skipping a meal - after all, 16:8 intermittent fasting works so well for a lot of people and that depends on not eating for 16 hours. It's more likely that overall and constant over-restriction of calorie intake kicks it in. Still, everyone's body is different and while we can share ideas, we have to observe the effects on ourselves and adjust our diet to suit.
