It seems like progress, and I was excited about this, but then I found a journal entry (not on the site, from my actual journal) from a while ago where I record that my weight fluctuated from 182.6-185 lbs on a weekly basis. They might reflect my empty and full weight. So I'm no longer excited, as this may not really be a drop :(
So far I've just been keeping track of calories but not really paying attention to what I was eating. Now, there will have to be a content change. I hate low carb diets. I've had success with them in the past (when I was actually skinny and thought I needed to lose five pounds - man I wish I had those problems again), but I find low carb diets unsustainable. It's culturally unsustainable too, because I'm Bengali and rice is a staple for me.
Oh well. Nice try anyway. Yesterday I went over my RDI. I think because I realized I didn't really lose weight and this calorie counting thing is not really working. I suppose I'll have to change game plans, but I'm not quite sure to what at this point. I'm not giving up. I just have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what to do...
