I have 4 months until a big trip, I hate New Years resolutions, they die off pretty quickly. With something to look forward to that requires physical activity gives me better options. I purposely chose 2 trips back to back that are more physical with walking up to 5 miles daily on uneven surfaces, off and on trains, planes, ferries, buses.
What I have done: 1. Signed up for 2 months of Enhanced Fitness classes (evidence based balance, strength and stamina classes geared towards Seniors). 2. Signed up for Dry January again this year. 3. Gone back to the gym since the weather doesn't allow for much outside walking right now. 4. Renewed my membership in the Mountaineers, local hiking group. 5. Reconnect with Fat Secret.
