Take two!Morning, FS buddies and the interwebz!
Had a moment of success - I think my hypothalamus has finally released it's hold on the 57.3kg set point (for a moment at least)... in case anyone else is struggling from nudging from a certain weight, feel free to release fury at that tiny gland in your head:
Information on hypothalamus - I think this'll be my new way of dealing with my magical number - by acknowledging what's happening inside and not hiding from it. Each time I hit 57.3kg, I'll do... X amount of Y (Maybe I'll have a hat set up at home, with random exercises in it that I have to perform... and roll two dice for the number of reps).
Anyway, this week's new goal is to snack healthy and STOP pigging out on processed sweets *I say this as I shed a tear for the many mint slices and ferrero rochers... oh! and Cadbury hazelnut chocolate blocks*
In fact, going to try NOT to have any chocolate or other random treats, WITH exceptions clearly listed below (otherwise we all know that this will fall through on day one):
* One chocolate at mum & dad's per week. Ooooh you beautiful Côte d'Or milk chocolate Bouchee's
* Birthdays & special occasions - a piece of cake/chocolate/whatever festive food is present... NOT the whole cake :D
* Unlimited coke zero. Yeah it's not great, but it's my safety blanket and my version of coffee (I don't drink tea [except camomile] or coffee).
So here's to a brand new start. Day 0! Got my dip and carrots ready, apple and light tasty cheese... etc etc. If anyone has any ideas for lo-carb snacks, please post them below! (I have nuts already on that list, and the light version of jell-o in my fridge).
Happy hypothalamus fist shaking day everybody :)
