bcbloyd's Journal, 10 Jun 11

Yes!!! Back in the 150's. Don't have too much farther far to go.

I'm learning to stay the course, even when suffering a minor "bounce" and "stall". Just kept watching what I ate, managing portions, and I'm on a roll again!

Even better, at this weight, I re-checked BMI and BFP. I am finally back into normal healthy ranges!

When I began this journey in mid-January, my BMI was 32 (the upper side of "overweight", low side of "severely overweight" according to the chart I have.) It's now 25 (the upper side of the "normal/healthy" range). And my BFP has dropped from 39% (borderline "obese") to 31%, which for women my age is safely in the "normal/healthy" range!

Best of all, I'm feeling great, exercising more. I can fit into my comfy sweat pants from back in my college days again, and I even went and tried on swimsuits this week without "feeling bad" about my reflection in the dressing room mirror. (Bought 2...two-piece suits! Haven't felt good enough to even try that kind on much less buy any in 20 years.)

I'm really lovin' this low-carb lifestyle!
