Went to appointment with both a nutritionist and a diabetes nurse and both said my diet would work. Nutritionist suggested I eat at the table instead of in front of the television...so I compromised and am eating lunch at the table in my screenhouse. The nurse stated that I was getting enough exercise and suggested more beans like lentils and navy beans.
106.6 kg Lost so far: 3.2 kg.    Still to go: 52.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Red and white kidney beans are pretty good, too! You can add them to soups to make the more filling.
