Trying to lose this weight for hip surgery in August. It’s so hard to be active when my hips are so bad. I haven’t gone swimming in two weeks. I’m definitely going on Monday but I have to give myself grace. Having a connective tissue disease means I can’t always do the things I want to.

Yes! Your worth is not defined by your ability to produce, or a number on a scale. I understand it's hard to get where you need to be when you are in pain. Is there anything you could do to make getting to the pool easier?

I also have autoimmune disease and bad hip, so I really relate to your frustration regarding exercising. I have been trying seated exercises and walking in place while holding onto the counter (even just for 100 steps or less at a time). You're doing well on your weight loss! 👍💙
