Low Carb High Fat.

Started 27th March 2014.

After intial weightloss of 4 1/2 kilo's in 4 1/2 weeks I began stalling and sometimes even going up in weight again.

Through recording everything that goes into my mouth I've found 'hidden' carbs, and that usually once a week I have 4 glasses of wine (one night on the weekend) instead of my usual one, sometimes two (week nights). This equals excess Calories.

Hubby and me like to have a 'dry' wine most nights with/before dinner, after work, to discuss the day/work etc. It's a de-stress time for us and a short get together in the busyness of life. We use to have beer after work but the calories and carbs are terribly high in beer. Dry wine is meant to be ok, but not in excess obviously.

Alcohol however does slow weight loss due to calories contained in it and gets absorbed quickly into system and can spike insulin levels, so I try to slow this by eating 10 - 15g cheese cubes before drinking wine. So I'm going to see if I can find a no carb, low cal red wine.

Made Homemade Beef Jerky this weekend (will save a fortune). :)

Going to try to do a 'Fat Fast' today and tomorrow, to get scales moving again. And going to try to exercise today too.









64 kg Lost so far: 1 kg.    Still to go: 9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
