Okay! We started our goals! We invested in a better gym and plan to go at least 5 days each week. My goals include toning up and losing 50 pounds by the start of the next year, but I'll be breaking that up into smaller goals. For this month, I'm going to try to lose 10 pounds, and since I am already down almost 5 pounds from the start of this month, I feel this is attainable.

My current plan is to complete at least 30 minutes of cardio on each of the five gym days and then at least 15 minutes of strength training on three of those days. I'm not too concerned with the exact regimen, however, as I feel it's more important to just get moving and getting used to that again. As for the diet, I'm avoiding the strict calorie counting (even though I know it has worked for me in the past), and will instead focus on eating better quality foods and work on portion control. If that works for me, great! If it doesn't, then I know I'll need to switch up some things, but for now I'm just getting into the swing of things!
