Just to throw this out there, does anyone have ideas on if its better to have carbs in the morning or afternoon?

Bob Harper (Biggest Loser trainer) has a book called "Skinny Rules" and one of his rules is to not have carbs after lunch. His thinking is more if you eat them in the morning, you have more time to burn them off. I can understand how this would work in that you would be eating lean protein and veggies in the afternoon and evening so you would automatically take in less calories and it would help with weight loss. So yes it can work. But many people don't count carbs (just calories) and eat them whenever and still lose. What it comes down to is how it affects you individually. You might try an experiment for a few days or a week and not eat carbs after lunch and see what happens. You could probably get Bob's book out of your local library if you were so inclined. See what works best for you!
