I currently have 2 different scales and am not sure which, or if either are accurate. The first is an analog scale I bought years ago and it's reading 257. The other is a digital Weight Watchers scale that I found under the sink after buying my house; it's reading 255. I just bought a new scale off Amazon and so I'll find out soon which it is.

Nice drop HZ, good job. Just use the same scale each time until your new one comes in, that way you'll know any weight changes. Have a great day! 🍁

I second shirfleur's comment -- as long as you pick and stick with a scale, you'll be able to track any fluctuations with a decent level of accuracy. I always get prickly at Drs appointment weigh-ins, because their scale always comes out heavier than my home one, but I know the one at home is consistent.

Etten, this is not my journal, it's horridzombie's. But you're correct, it is a nice drop!

Hi Shir, guess i wasn't clear. I told HZ nice drop and that what you posted (i.e @Shirfleur) was 100% correct about the solution for dealing with the scale. Have a great day.

My daughter has a WW scale that I was using when I started; then I switched to a "smart scale" that does all the extra fat/muscle/water calculations. The new scale weighed me 3 lbs. heavier, although I had been losing steadily with no cheats.

I have two scales also. I like the smart

Mine weigh at different weights on different tiles in my bathroom. I just find the kindest one 😅
Flat, level, solid surface is what you require

It's weird on how scales read different from each other. I try to pay attention to the doctor's scale verus my own.

Analog scale isn't your friend. You have to manually calibrate it with a dial. You likely are the 255, and not 257.

The true weigh is hard to tell. At my doctors the scale always seem more than my scale at home

I actually had the same problem, and I just choose to go with the more flattering one. 😂 Weight can fluctuate daily so it’s hard to ever get any scale to agree.
