Can't understand why I'm not losing pounds, but have lost inches. I am averaging 1,000 calories daily. Broken foot and sprained ligaments are healing, it's been 7 weeks. Will attempt Zumba beginning next week. Need to get to the gym and work upper body. But, I should be losing weight? Any suggestions? I'm following the Belly Fat Cure.
80.7 kg Lost so far: 2.7 kg.    Still to go: 10.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I suggest you eat more calories. 1000 calories a day is not enough to keep your metabolism functioning properly. Most likely, your body has gone into "starvation mode" meaning, it's hanging on to weight you have in response to not getting enough calories--aka energy. Your body needs a minimum of 1200 calories per day (no matter what your weight is) to function and respond properly. I would increase your caloric intake to at least 1200 calories at day on a "lazy day" and 1500 calories on active days when you work out or do physical activity. Hope this is helpful and good luck with your foot!! :-)
