I am a single mom with two active teenagers that have smoking metabolisms and are eating all the time. Our home is alway busy with teens and friends eating pizza, pastas,ice cream, tacos, mountains of fries and other fun foods.
I planned my menu for the week and have purchased groceries. Today was the first day of this new way of eating. I have a soft-side cooler that will help me get my meals and snacks to work each day.
I've already made a weeks worth of sausage/egg/cheese quche-like muffins that are already bagged up and ready to go. I've also got a plan of what I will eat for dinner while the teens eat their pasta and other tempting foods. Some meals will work for all of us and the kids need not know any different. I've bought some of the zero carb powdered drink mixes to help me get all of the water in each day.
I am officially ready to go!
