I’m hoping some of you have some tricks to help me break through this plateau! 😊

Sometimes plateaus need to happen. For me they usually mean that a nice big drop is coming! Hang in there!

I know this is not the answer you want, but i have heard a plateau is really a month or more. If you have lost 33# (which is amazing btw, congratulations) that is significant. Your body will need to readjust and reset itself periodically. It needs to grow your muscles and reapportion your fat. So be patient and keep doing what you are doing for at least a couple of weeks. Drink your water and get good sleep. Jmho. Good luck!

Honestly, when I hit my plateau, I cut my carbs a bit. That seemed to break mine and get me back on a steady weight loss track.

I had the same thing happen at 30 pounds.. I did 800 calories for 2 days and then back to 1200 calories... within a couple days , I started dropping again.... good luck !!

When I hit a plateau and stop losing I fast for a day or so. Or skip a meal. I've never hit a plateau for very long.

Congrats on the loss. Change up your woe some and confuse your body. Hopefully that will help. Like Jen said, water and sleep are very important

First, congrats on weight loss. Im also at 1200 cals a day. Cut back on your carbs. Do you eat alot of fruit? While trying to lose, limit fruit to berries. Lots of sugar n carbs in other fruits!

I would drink water and if you are more active look at your protein intake. Never go below 950 cal depending on height calorie depletion is not good. Sometimes you can eat a “cheat” meal. And it re-kicks your metabolism into gear

Sally, I've found that 1200 calories is too low for me. I eat 1500-1600 calories per day and lose more effectively than at 1200 (I am averaging 1.7 pounds per week). You might try increasing your intake to at least 1400 and see how that works. Be sure you log everything you eat for an accurate count. Good luck on your journey. 🌈🌈🌈
