OMG! As much as I'm trying to restrain my excitement given what lies ahead this week and the next month+, the scale actually read my goal weight for the first time in months. And while it is an appropriate time to be thankful for that (& believe me, no matter how short-lived, I am extremely thankful), it is also somewhat fitting as it is a time to be thankful for so many other, much more important things. I woke to a beautiful email Thanksgiving card from the parents of a close friend who passed away this past summer after a long, hard battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). It certainly puts it all in perspective. So, my FS buddies, who have become such wonderful, supportive, caring friends, today I am so very grateful that my diet work is playing off and I'm seeing quantitative results, but much, much more so that I have each of you in my life! xoxox
