Unexplained uptick on the scale. I have to trust that it will disappear tomorrow. I'm staying under 1300 calories and 20 net carbs so the weight will come off. I know I'm in ketosis because I'm not hungry but I have slacked on water for the past two days.

I'm having that today and I'm TICKED. I had a thousand calorie deficit yesterday and have maintained a 500 calorie deficit for the past two weeks and I went UP a pound! So irritating.

Doesn't seem like enough calories for you to take off pounds. Your body may think it's in starvation mode.

drinking water is super important, your body will work hard to retain what it has if you don't give it enough water

Nobody is starving or we wouldn't be on a site call FAT secret. But your metabolism could be fighting you for the calorie restriction

Oh Phil, you are taking my comment out of context. The body does recognize a difference in calorie intake. If it thinks it's not getting enough of something, it considers itself in starvation MODE. Same goes for sugar, artificial or regular. It recognizes both as sugar. Don't make me have to chase you down with my walker!!😘
