Well, I'm off to a good start, and Thank Goodness! Waiting a whole week to weigh was tough, but seeing an almost 5 lb loss is very good incentive to keep going. I was a little afraid that I wouldn't lose very much, as my metabolism is pretty sluggish since I stopped breastfeeding. I was amazed in the difference in my appetite - I only need about half of what I was eating before, and I didn't gain during that time. Feeding that baby allowed me to eat whatever I wanted, and I got pretty used to that. BIG shock to my system when I stopped! It was definitely a good lesson learned.
