Back to logging since we've made some significant changes.
Started taking Creatine with my pre-workout shake rather than my post workout shake.
Feeling more powerful.
Switching to 1.5g-2g per kg of body weight (70kg)
=105g to 140g
Filling rest of the calories with carbs or fat
Should feel nicer on the wallet too 😆
We're also coming up to the end of our gym membership since we've cancelled and made our own home Gym.
This time around we're working with kettlebells more than restricted training.
I've been transitioning for the last couple of weeks and am taking a rest today.
Tomorrow we begin pushing it 🫡
Let's see how this goes.

Losing 0.1 kg a Week
02 November 2023
It's been 6 days since I injured myself on snatchgrip deadlifts.
Heard and felt the scary pop sound as I was pulling up. Dropped the weight and prayed it would get better.
Ended up in the ER with good signs that it wasn't spinal related and more likely a muscle strain.
A good 6 days to reflect and align with my goals.
Remove the vanity and ego.
Bring back the functionality and longevity.
Reduced kcal removing mass gainer intake. Kept my protein and healthy fats up.
Kept myself in a good headspace.
Now I'm feeling about 90%. And decided to slowly reintroduce the gym with stretches and reduced weight. Kcal will be going back up.
Listen to your bodies in the gym friends. Rest is important.

I went through with it! Got eye surgery to get my eyesight back to 20/20. Best decision I've made in self investment! This would be Day 4 in recovery.
This procedure will affect my workout routine. SO! I'll be reducing kCal since my intensity will have to take a back seat for a while.
2600kCal and monitoring
Still eating clean. Have a 1 week trip coming up with Limited access to gym. Time to plan ahead

Week 10. I'm happy with my direction. Stayed on this 2800kCal plan, pull/push/legs workout with either rest, active rest day, continuance or hiit.
I can see my abs now. Mid section has thinned out. Last time I was at this stage, my face was supper skinny and I weighed in at 148lbs. This year, I have more muscle mass. I'm also really happy that I look the way I do and my wedding ring isn't slipping off 🤣🤣🤣
I've been sticking to cleaner food except for Family nights on Friday. Food I've consumed have less ingredients. Even though good is promoted healthy, there's alot of preservatives and chemicals still in the food. Since sticking to this, I feel I've progressed much faster, I've also gotten my strength back. I fell in a slump around the 5-7 week mark and started cleaner around d the 7th/8th week.
Details, details, details. So next year, I remember what I did 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Took my rest day yesterday. Ate slightly under my 2800kCal plan.
Today was PULL Day B. Felt very right with more control over the weight.
Need to get back to my routine early morning workouts and tea drinking 😆
