Okay, so it's day 3 of Slim in 6...I am not hurting nearly as badly as I thought I would! I am going to start working out with a buddy on Friday, so I think that will help with the movitvation, even though I'm feeling pretty motivated these days! My work out buddy is going to have to start slowly, so she'll be on a 3 days/week workout schedule for the first 2 weeks, and then ramp it up to 6 days a week. This means I'm going to have to extend the first two weeks of Slim in 6 to 4 weeks, but I'm okay with that. If it gets my WOB off the couch and back to working out, it's worth it! TOTALLY fell off the diet late last night, specifically the last 2 quarters of the Bears/Packers game. I am not, however, going to beat myself up about it and blow the week. Got up and right back at it this morning. I hope I can keep this momentum up!!!

So I started the Slim in 6 series yesterday...my butt felt like it was on fire 15 minutes into it yesterday. I knew by last night I was not going to be able to move today (heck, I couldn't move last night) but I got up and just finished the second workout. It was actually easier today, working thru the pain, and I feel less sore than I did before I started. Had 2 beers last night, but I had the points to spare after sticking with the food plan and working out yesterday (I do WW). I really really want to stick with this, because I know the results will be AMAZING!!!

I just received the Beachbody series Slim in 6 in the mail today. I plan on starting tomorrow, as well watching my intake and avoiding alcohol. My husband and I have made the agreement that if we can get to our goals (mine is 140 lbs/size 4/6 and his is a 34 in. waist) by the end of the year
and maintain them
, we will go on a shopping spree over Valentine's Day weekend (we have a trip away that weekend close to an awesome outlet mall). I hope that not only recording what I eat, but my thoughts and progress as well, will help me create some new healthy habits that I can stick to.
