Iam one week into my new P90X program and I have never been more sore in my entire life! My arms and back are the worst it's those damn push ups!
Today was my weigh in day and my weight had not really changed! I have been doing P90X 6 days per week and no real weight loss all I could think was why bother...I was so very disapointed!
Then I took my measurements I lost 1 inch on my hips, 1 inch on my shoulders, and 3 inches on my waist!! I'm not really sure how its possible to not really lose much weight and lose so much in inches but I am thrilled! I don't really care about my actual weight as much as inches!
So now I'm in week two of P90X and I am even more motivated and excited to see what next week brings! I plan to follow my diet 100% this week and see if that makes a difference I went over my calories twice last week.

Okay so a few days ago I was accepted into a Yoga teacher training program. I was thrilled it has been something on my Bucket list since 2004.
However after I was accepted I realized I may have a hard time with the long days and I am worried because of my weight I will not be able to keep up. I got P90X for my husband and I have now decided to give it a try too.
For those of you that do not know what P90X is, it is an intense work out program that you do at home 7 days per week for 90 days! It also includes a nutrition plan and other helpful information.
Today was day one and it starts with my two worst areas on day one: chest and back and abs. I realized I can not do more then a few proper push ups and not even one pull up even with a chair to assist me. IT WAS SO HARD! but I did not give up I sweated my butt off and I already have some soreness after only a few hours....
this is going to be tough but I love the fact that you track your progress measurements and fitness level through out. It seems like a very well designed program and I am excited to see what results I get. Its 5 months until my teacher training program starts so wish me luck!
