I've been thinking of doing a weekend water fast. I've been reading up on them and think maybe it might be a good idea to cleanse my system and reset things so to speak. Plus I usually eat horribly on weekends. :/
Things that worry me tho is #1 I'm diabetic so not sure how this would affect me there.
Also I have hypothyroidism and again, worried about how this would affect it.
Plus I'm on 7 different medications and some I've read say you go off everything including meds, and some don't.
Maybe some of you could give me some insight?

FASTING MORNING BLOOD SUGAR: 221
PRE LUNCH BLOOD SUGAR: 129
My morning fasting blood sugars are irritating me. They are always at or above 200. No matter what I had the night before. Last night my blood sugar before bed was 100. As, you can see, this morning,its 221!!! Crazy. And I recorded everything I ate, didn't leave anything off.
Been reading online about it possibly being something called Dawn Phenomenon. Where your blood sugar spikes while sleeping during the hours of 2-3am. I see my doctor at the end of the month, so I will discuss this with her then.
Been slowly adding some easy exercise to my daily routine. Alternating walking and weight training days.
Also way over due for a new weigh in.
