I fell off the wagon. Hard. Actually got up to 354, health started deteriorating. We did a team health challenge at work. Decided it was a good time to start cleaning things up.

Well, the pounds are dropping a bit more slowly now, but they're still dropping. I'm curious to see what my blood pressure is tomorrow. A month ago, I was pre-hypertensive. Can a month of healthy eating bring it down? Or does it take longer? We shall se.

How disappointing. I knew this week wouldn't be stellar (I *would* start right before a barbecue weekend), but I did exercise moderation. I was expecting to hold serve, not go up four pounds.
I see people "indulge" the way I did all the time - a cookie after dinner, an extra half serving of those potatoes - and they're no worse off for it. I gain four pounds.
Seriously. If eating the way I did this weekend causes me to gain that quickly, then there's no hope. Yeah, it wasn't rabbit food and diet air, but I ate light servings, minus a small extra here and there. It was a party after all. This sucks.
