TO LOSE 1 lb PER WEEK:

To lose 1 lb a week safely decrease your daily intake to 1,456 calories.

You have decided to eat 30 grams of carbohydrate a day. This is 8.2% of your total diet caloric intake.

Required Protein Intake: 76 grams of high quality protein.

This would be supplied by: 12.6 ounces or 354 grams of a high quality protein food like meat, fish, eggs, or cheese, which typically contain 6 grams of protein.
