Returning to full throttle effort. Logging food and exercise is back in. Denial is out. Saw MRI of foot today. Stress fracture explains the swelling and pain. Have to wear the boot full time for another three weeks. Been cheating and wearing it just a few hours a day. That apparently is not enough to heal the foot.

147 on the gym scale. Not surprising. I ate the whole bag of M & M's. That's a pound of candy over two weeks. That's a lot of sugar and calories. I am struggling with regaining my WOE. I have a good lunch or dinner than eff it up with a bad dinner or a cup of gelato. My only hope is going to the gym. I go with my good neighbor and he does not take no for an answer. I have a great trainer that I see once a week. She actually pays attention to my body and her focus is on me. It's pretty intense but so helpful. I hurt my foot and can't walk very far and running is off the table. It's not broken more like stress inflammation. MRI results tomorrow. And that's it. My goal is to get to 137 by mid February and 130 my early April. Bring it on!

I went away for the holidays and gained weight. Weirdly it seems to be coming off easier than expected. MAybe because I go to the gym regularly. Could my metabolism be improved? Who knows. My WOE is not completely restored. I have to get rid of the M & M's in a way that does not involve putting them in my mouth.
