Okay so today I learned the easiest way to figure the Atkins diet. Meat and veggies! That is simple. Now if I can reduce the amount of cheese and ranch dressing......I will be in great shape!
I worked today as I do every day, and the guy I take care of is a sweets fanatic! It is a challenge every day not to help myself the the snacks and cookies, pie and ice cream. I can't have it now where before I just helped myself. As a binge eater, once I saw it, that's all I wanted and I ate until I quit. We go to restaurants to have lunch and dinner and we always got a glass of wine and dessert. Any time you go out to dinner the portions are sometimes 4 times the regular portion size. Imagine how much food I actually put away over the course of a weekend! Now I eat my salad and my eggs and move on. Today was very hard but it was doable and I am proud I didn't eat things I should not!
Weigh in is tomorrow. Kinda nervous~

So yesterday and today I am not sure if I ate the correct things or not. I see my fat intake is huge and my net carbs are a little high. I think it was kinda the wrong thing to do, starting a diet thinking I knew what I was doing and didn't read the books. Well tomorrow I am starting the Atkins book I have and Monday going to buy a scale. After today I can see why they are important.

So today is another day where I don't want to get out of bed or do anything. I need to get moving so I am. Shower, dishes, laundry, grocery store. All in one day. I slept until noon so I have missed a meal. I will record all that I am eating other than Breakfast. Lots of water. Sorry I am just rambling but I feel like I need to hold my self accountable and follow the routine even if I don't feel like it. Just sitting in the same spot, not doing anything. Because I have been laid up for so long, my house is a wreck. The boyfriend has decided to move in and I am embarrassed over what my house looks like. I have 1 week to get back on track. I think talking myself through this is so helpful! Got to go make lunch, I have no clue what to make, and start my dishes~

So I have never been this depressed before. I hope 2013 gets better. Don't think I can have much more of this craziness. Well on a positive note, I did journal yesterday and I didn't eat much so I was able to record everything that I ate. Can't do much exercising right now but at least I am eating properly. I am, however, trying to get more veggies into my meals. I am so hooked on all the protein and not eating enough of anything else. When I go to the store tomorrow, are there any vegetables I should completely stay away from? I would love to have some raw spinach for sandwiches, or some tomatoes. Anyway, I am glad I made it through last night and I am now on my way to recovery.
