Well, looks like I'm back where I started. No biggie. I know it's just a matter of eating well. This is where you really see the results of "you reap what you sow" or "garbage in, garbage you get". All right, so the last one is a little modified, but you know what I mean.

FRIDAY, JULY 20,
PHASE 1, DAY 6
WEIGHT: 113.5 lbs
FAT: 27%
Just found out that we're meeting our friends tomorrow at a Greek Restaurant. I can eat "allowed" food (ie. chicken souvlaki, salad, etc.), but in case I get tempted to have moussaka (my favourite Greek food), I'll go to the gym to off-set the (bad) calorie intake.
Ha! So I figured that if I'm gonna blow the diet tomorrow, may as well have an early start. Had 6 chocolate wafers. Proud to say I'm not guilty (you Catholics would understand), but I understand the consequences of my actions. So this will probably set me back half a week. Good thing I'm not in a hurry to lose this weight. Off to the gym this weekend (yup, that would be my penance).
Just noticed that all the cheddar cheese I've been eating the whole week is not low-fat. I suppose it's still pretty good that I'm losing approx. 0.5-1 lb. per day.
TODAY I ATE:
BREAKFAST
- cabbage and turkey stir fry
- old aged cheddar cheese
LUNCH
- cabbage and turkey stir fry
- diet rootbeer
DINNER
- cabbage omelet
- skim milk
SNACKS
- 6 sticks of chocolate wafer (uh, yeeeaaaa, the bad kind)
- almonds

Losing 1.6 kg a Week
19 July 2007
THURSDAY, JULY 19,
PHASE 1, DAY 5
WEIGHT: 114 lbs
FAT: 27%
OK, so doing the weigh-in is all new to me. At least weighing in everyday. In my last diet, we were discouraged from weighing in (for the sole reason that muscle weighs more than fat). Instead, we were to notice how our clothes fit and how our body is getting in better shape.
In any case, I don't mind the weigh-ins, though it's becoming an obsession. I'm glad to say that this is the first day that I feel I've lost weight. My pants are actually loose on my waist. That's an awesome sign. I don't really care so much about the weight, but more about how my clothes fit and if I've lost the fat and built muscle. I know for sure the latter is not really happening, since I'm not pumping weights. But that will come at a later date.
TODAY I ATE:
BREAKFAST
- 3 eggs, 1 yolk
LUNCH
- missed it (too busy working)
DINNER
- turkey garden salad
SNACKS
- Philly Cream cheese Strawberry
