This weigh in is bitter sweet. It's the end of the month and I've lost 14 pounds total for the month.
I've been slacking on my exercise these past few days and I can feel it. It's making me depressed and feel badly about myself and my weightloss. I don't want to feel anything but proud of myself and accomplished. I guess it's hard to get that sensation when you know that you cheated yourself, that you could have done better, that you should have tried harder. Bitter-sweet indeed.
But, this officially kicks off a fresh start. A new week, and a new month, my two favorite things. A chance to wash the past away, and start over. Do everything right, keep my own promises, etc.
Anyhoo, I hope everyone has a great day today.

Losing 1.6 kg a Week
27 May 2009
I was so happy when I got on the scale this morning! .5 away from my first goal woooo!
Geez, I'm losing a lot of weight fairly quickly. I've definitely pumped up my exercise and my eating is better than ever. It's funny how this time around with dieting, I'm doing things so differently and I'm getting such amazing results. Before, all I did was starve myself to the point that I was too weak to even get out of bed, let alone do an entire cardio session. Now, I'm eating every few hours, I'm satisfied and I don't want to binge or snack on fattening foods. I have the energy to work out, even though most times I don't WANT to. I suppose it's just a habit I have to grow into. I'm drinking almost a gallon of water every day, and I'm seeing improvements in my skin. It's the best it's ever looked since I'm not putting so much fat into my body, and drinking so much water, I rarely ever break out.
Over all, I'm happy and excited to see more weight loss. I was concerned about losing it so rapidly. But I have to remember that my body WANTS to lose weight. I'm not one of those " born to be fat " kind of people. I'm not "big boned". My face is small and so are my wrists and ankles. Although I may have the capacity to put a lot of weight on, I don't think I was meant to be fat. I think my body wants to be at a healthy weight and to be healthy in general, so it's just responding amazingly to the work that I'm doing. Whatever it is that's happening I'm happy and grateful.

Losing 2.4 kg a Week

LOL. Well, I set out to eat more calories and I definitely did. Or should I say drank more calories. I'm out of my "safe zone" by seven or so points, mostly because of the wine I had tonight at a gathering. Ah well, the buzz was worth it. I don't feel so bad because I did an TON of dancing today. I'm going to be extra good tomorrow ( no alcohol! ), and work out for my regular Sunday weigh in. I hope everyone else had a good day.

Today was a good day as far as eating goes. Usually I'm ravenous when Aunt Dot is in town, but this time around I'm pretty satiated. I didn't do Taebo like I planned, but I did get my butt up and dance around to Beyonce for a little bit. I at least worked up a nice sweat. I don't think I ate enough today. That's one of my struggles once I get into "diet mode". I UNDEReat as a way to stick to my diet but it ends up blowing up in my face because all it does is cause my metabolism to plummet and leave me starving with little to no energy. I don't feel as if I don't have enough energy, but I know that I have to eat in order to lose weight at a steady, healthy pace. Dropping ten pounds in a week only to gain fifteen the next week is soooo not what I'm trying to do this time around.
I'm going to eat more tomorrow, I promise. As well as do Taebo.
