Spring Break!! Vacation in Puerto Rico. The good thing was that we did a lot of walking and even hiked up a giant mountain (or at least that's what if felt like) in El Yunque. I tried to be good about eating--mostly fruit for breakfast, vegetarian meals when I had the will power--but happy hour was a killer. Anyway, I'm home and I'm a few ounces heavier, but not a full pound so I see it as a HUGE SUCCESS! And I'm ready to be back on the diet.

Today was a good day. My husband is out of town which always tempts me to indulge myself but I was so busy today that it wasn't an issue. I even have 250 calories left which I plan to ignore since tomorrow we have a big benefit breakfast where I know I'll over do--luckily it's early in the day so I can back off at lunch and probably come out okay.

Wow! 50 pounds! I'm actually wearing a size 14 (okay, in some styles I wear a 16). Last May I was a size 22. I still have at least 12 pounds to go but I feel great and while it hasn't been easy, it hasn't been anywhere near as hard as I thought it would be.

Finally got another pound to come off. I have noticed that now my size is changing faster than the weight. I guess the exercise is paying off.
