I got discouraged because I was "bad" New Years Eve. I've got up the next day and just got back with it...All in all pretty happy for my first week. Down 3 lbs or so :)

Will cutting calories alone cause you to lose weight? I've put myself on a 1350 calorie a day diet. I know this first week I will have lost 2-3 lbs. When results start to plateau do you just cut more (I know they suggest not to go below 1200). I like what I'm doing now and don't really feel like I'm missing out or hungry. I just have to think ahead. I really don't want to cut food groups out of my diet. Any of you out there have good success simply calorie cutting?
