The past few days were spent out of town, for a wedding, funeral, and birthday party. I didn't attempt to log food, overal calories weren't terrible, I'd guess maybe 1500 total more taken in then expended? But too many carbs and the scale shows it at 215.6lbs. Friday we're celebrating my wife's birthday at a very nice Italian/Seafood place that opened recently. I'll be cutting calories/carbs until then to try and get this bloat off.

211.4 lbs. My wife and I are taking friends to a new restaurant called The Black Hog for dinner, by the name it sounds like there won't be a problem getting a low carb meal there. I plan to fast until dinner, and then enjoy a nice seasonal ale later tonight as a treat.

211.8 lbs this morning, down .8 from Saturday after sucessfully navigating through a catered meal event that evening, AND got my 2 pumpkin ales in over the weekend plus a small treat of low carb ice cream. I'm happy with that!

212.6 lbs. It took all week to get back to where I was a week ago. Let's see if I can do a better job this week and avoid the yo-yo effect. We have a catered meal tonight with a full spread so smart food choices are critical.

We'll have our youngest grandson tonight, taking him to dinner then out to a local farm/pumpkin patch for some fun. Perfect weather for it. I love that little guy, he's the perfect kid. Not that I'm biased at all, lol. Bedtime story for the night is "Walter the Farting Dog", it's a cute book.
Hopefully I'll record a drop in weight for the week, after going off track somewhat last weekend for a birthday party. Weigh in tomorrow morning, we shall see. I plan to alter things this weekend eating wise to accomodate having a couple beers, one Saturday and one Sunday. 'Tis the plan to consider macros carefully and adjust eating accordingly, to avoid having to spend next week re-losing weight already lost. We shall see, I sure hope it works as I have a case of nice fall IPA's, pumpkin ales, and stouts I've been collecting and would like to enjoy a couple of them a week. My little beer fridge overfloweth, and man does not live by water alone!
