I feel so much better than yesterday. I was so sore yesterday that it actually hurt to sit down (my legs were killing me!). However, I went to the gym after work (pushed myself really hard to go) and when I got to the gym there was a Yoga class about to start. I thought of how good a body stretch would feel at that moment so I decided to take Yoga for the first time. The class was a bit advanced (IMHO) but I think I did pretty well. I have no upper body strength so the planks and other positions were challenging. Overall I had a great time and I was truly relaxed when I was done with the class. Then I went to the elliptical machine for 30 minutes.I liked Yoga so much that I decided to take it again Friday.
This morning I woke up at 5:10 am and made it to my Chisel class. The class was as challenging as ever, but today was even harder because there were too many people in the classroom and they were moving too much (people were leaving at random times and picking up their stuff as they did this, breaking everybody else concentration in the class). After the gym, I was feeling sore (not as bad as yesterday) so I decided to sleep for an extra hour. By the time I woke up at 7:50 am I was a changed person. Nothing hurts!!! I can feel the stiffness of my muscles from the weight lifting, but not pain when I am moving. That made my day! and to top it off, the soon is shinning and it is a beautiful day.
Today I brought my food to work trying to be more conscious about my eating habits and to try to consume more fruits and veggies (part of the Little Black Dress Challenge). SO I brough mini carrots, celery, grapes and blueberries. I hope these become my snacks between meals. Lets see how it goes!

I am doing great today, but I am starting to feel sore from the weight lifting, the push ups and specially the crunches (who knew abs could hurt!)
This morning I did the unimaginable. I stepped on the scale. I had tried really hard not to do this every day, but this morning I felt so sore I thought "Something must be working" and guess what, something is!!! I lose 5 pounds. I think it maybe water weight or something because it is too much to lose in a small period of time. But regardless of the reason for the lost I am just happy that I did lose 5 pounds. I will weight myself again at the end of the week 1 and verify my results.
Because I was so sore this morning, I decided to do my cardio tonight and I plan to eat as healthy as I can

I am felling much better. I woke up early today and went to the Gym for my chisel class. I love the feeling of lifting weights and feeling my muscle stretch!
For the rest of the day I'll concentrate on eating healthy. I had my first try with the exercise journal and I realized that I really don't do that much exercised. I mean, I sleep, I work and I go to the gym for one hour, but besides that, the remaining hours go to resting, although I do not feel rested! I am also studying for my CPA exam, but I don't know how to include that on my exercise journal. Oh well!
Tomorrow will be a cardio day.I still don't know if I should run on the treadmill or just use the elliptical machine. Running can be tough at times, and I get bored easily. That's why I like classes better.
The more I do my challenges the more I try to organize my schedule. For example, I think I'll stick with weight lifting for Tuesdays and Thursdays, Cardio for Monday/Sunday and Wednesdays and Pilates/Yoga for Friday. I really like this combination. Plus I get to choose if I want Monday or Sunday off.
