Question for the ladies out there who get hormonal cravings. Any tips on how to curb them, or healthy options for them? Once a month I want sweets and potato chips and pizza omg. My fiancé thinks I just need to eat them to make myself happy, and will buy things to do so. But I have worked too hard to just pig out for 3 days, and basically negate what I’ve been doing. The struggle is real lol 😂

Anyone else have issues with feeling like their spouse/partner/significant other doesn’t want them to lose weight? I’m truly on a journey to overall be healthier, and weight loss is a bonus. I would like everyone in my household to have better habits, and I strive to cook well for them and maintain balanced meals for them. Unfortunately it seems as if my fiancé is not wanting me to get back to where I once was. My amount of male attention has never changed due to my weight, and I have been with this man off and on for 5 years. So you’d think he would just be more supportive and happy for me on my journey. 🫤

Not much for a loss this week, but it’s been a super stressful and hectic one. I find that if I don’t have my protein smoothie in the morning right away, I want to snack or eat things I shouldn’t at night. At least all the activity kept me from gaining despite my poor food choices.

Awhile back I did the elimination diet for a month. Learned a lot about what effects my body in both good and harmful ways. Now I have to choose what sort of diet plan will continue those benefits and also help me continue to lose the weight that has dragged me down for years. Between my thyroid, surgeries, and depression, it has been a tough battle. I am active daily due to maintaining a large house, children, and animals. I do also do at home kettlebell exercises and walk or bike frequently. Luckily we live close to the lake and I have good scenery. On average, what have some of you found to be most effective, while also staying healthy? Trying to stick with both lower carbs and low fat. Not a huge meat eater, so mostly chicken, Turkey, tuna, and occasionally lean pork. Perhaps even some good recipes or sites with good ideas? It really helps motivate me to track everything and to see how much all of you support one another. So glad I downloaded this app!
