I guess all things considered, I don't hate this weigh-in. It was a rough couple of weeks but I hope I can motivate myself to get back on track. I've had such a tough time the last couple of years with my weight and it's taking a toll emotionally on me. I had felt really good about my progress recently but I just can let life's speedbumps detour me - or let them be an excuse. Blah! OK - I guess that's enough for one pity party ...

Well I kind of fell off my "eating well" wagon the last couple of weeks. Actually it was more that I had a couple of personal things happen that just distracted me from focusing on myself. My daughter was let go from her job and then one of my very dear friends found out he has cancer. So while I didn't do any bad binging stuff, I more just didn't pay much attention. I think I have to learn that no matter what goes on around me, I still have to care for me. I will be a better person when I am happier and healthier and I can contribute so much more to people I love that way. So I am back, trying to refocus again - but man it's hard!

Ugggg what a day ... I just could not stop eating yesterday! Fortunately I didn't eat crap but I just couldn't stop. Why do I do that? I had a really good couple of weeks, making great progress, then "boom" overeat. I was so good at controlling myself at the Super Bowl party. Ok - take a deep breath, regroup, and finish the week strong!
