Well, I made it through the first 3 days of school. Got in a lot of walking while doing lunch duty in some seriously hot weather (which helped cause I haven't exercised yet). I am happy the scale moved in the right direction.

Here's the joy of working in a school - lots of vacation. Well, after 50 days of vacation reality hits. And it hits hard! Just under 10 pounds gained. :( Of course I expected it. Eating the way I did and no exercise at all. I start back at work next week. Hopefully being back on a normal schedule will help. I also have to get back into tracking my food, (which needs to be healthier), and at least start walking again. I bought a pair of "almost fits" jeans as motivation. Got my exercise partner lined up and I'm rarin' to go! Sorta. Well - not really - but I'm goin anyway! Here's to a good week!

I did not plan on posting till I got back from my extended vacation, but I went online today to offer support to an fs buddy and figured I would check in. I will be back home in about 10 days. I have gained back all the weight I lost, and then some. It's tough trying to be good when I'm surrounded by bad. I have no will power. I bought a pair of almost fit me jeans. I am hoping they will motivate me if I hang them where I can see them every day. I will try to start fresh when I get back.

It's done. My official weigh in on the day after my 6 Day Shred experiment is 156 lbs. My scale only goes in whole and half pounds. It says my bmi is 26.6. It had previously been as high as 38. So, I lost 6 lbs and lowered my bmi by 11.4%. I'm happy for the weight loss, but I am even happier to be done. Now I just need to find a happy medium between the way I used to eat, and the way I ate on the Shred.
