I started this journey on May 23, mainly because my body was giving out. my knees were hurting me, my blood pressure was starting to get out of control, had a bad case of arthritis in the knee are because of my weight and my back was always hurting. when I went to a restaurant, I was too big to sit in a booth and had to ask for a table. first thing people notice about me was my stomach when I walked in a room. based on this, I finally decided to make a change. I just want to say thanks for those who have supported me by either leaving a comment or giving me a like. it really does make a difference. so far I have lost 25 lbs and by the end of the month I expect to have lost 35 lbs. in the past, my knees were always hurting me. I want to wait until the beginning of July to let my knees get stronger and I will start exercising. I have been taking weekly pictures of myself with a slight change in 2 months. when this journey is over, I'll post my begin pic and my end of the journey pic. again, thanks to those who have supported me.

another five pounds lost. I stumbled during memorial day weekend, and now back on schedule with a vengeance. I learned from it, and won't let it happen again.

woo hoo!!! did it again. lost another 5 lbs this week. my knees aren't hurting anymore. now I can be more active.

woo hoo!!! another 5 lbs gone. in my fourth week. can't wait until I can sit behind a wheel in a car without my stomach touching it.
