Just gonna put this here.
When i wasn't eating low carb, if i just happened to have an omelet for breakfast I'd be satisfied for several hours. But, if i had the same kind of omelet but also had biscuits or toast with jelly i would be ravenous before lunch. And by ravenous i mean weak, irritable and so hungry i felt nauseated in that way that only something to eat will fix. If i ate cereal and milk not only would i get hungry sooner, I'd also stay hungry until dinner. From childhood until my mid-thirties if there was fruit in the house i had difficulty stopping at just one piece and i thought of it all day long. I just want to put that our there because i get tired of people talking like what i have lived through in life isn't possible.

The Skinny on Obesity

This is very informative and easy to understand. Dr. Robert Lustig speaks through most of it. It speaks about sugar, fructose, brain, hormones, stress, etc.

The Quest to Understand the Biology of Weight Loss
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2i_cmltmQ6A
This is interesting. I'd be interested to see if there was any difference in the way the brain and body reacted if the makeup of what the participants are ingesting was different(low fat or keto) while the calories remained the same.
It's somewhat worrisome in that I've never been thin a day in my life so there's really no telling how my mind and body and muscles would respond if I ever got below 200. However, it also makes me feel validated since many people assume I must eat all of the time to be so big. People seem always to assume a fat person is lying when they say they don't eat so much.
I am also hopeful that perhaps by the time I get closer to 200 they will have come up with a leptin therapy to help people maintain healthier weights. I'm going to do more research in to that today since I believe this documentary is a few years old; a couple of years old anyway.

It's getting to be a bit frustrating not being able to really measure my progress. It could be another three weeks before i get out and get to the hospital where they have a scale i can weigh on. I don't have a tape measure to fit around my waist and hips. I have very few clothes and what i have isn't structured enough to discern a difference.
I know I'm still losing but i don't know how well I'm losing so don't know if i should be doing something more, less, or differently, or if I'm doing extra well and should be patting myself on the back.

Who would have thought i'd be surfing through a bodybuilding website? There are quite a few interesting articles there.
