Today's small victory, made cookies with the littlest ones today and Connor offered me one I told him no but he insisted so I took a small bite (gingerbread man's toes) and gave it back to him. I would say that's winning!

Day3:
Up at 5:15am got my coffee and took my morning vitamins. Enjoyed my 45min of quiet time then got the older kids up at 6am. My 3&4yr olds woke up around 7:15. They got cereal at 7:30. I decided at 9:30 to make a real breakfast since I was nearing a good start time for my 8hrs of eating. Cooked up 2 cups of potatoes, 5eggs, and 5pcs of sausage(cut up). I split that between myself and the little guys. I feel satisfied so I am certain I will be able to stay under my RDI for today. I found an awesome meal replacement shake that has 60cal (before being mixed) and 8g protein that I plan to use on my down days!!

Day 2: this is my first down day (DD), the goal is 20% of my normal daily calorie intake. I love that the vitamins I take contain a blend that allows them to be taken on an empty stomach! So far my calories have been from about 20oz of coffee (with cream and sugar) and a tsp of the chili I am making for dinner before adding more spices. I am looking forward to my meal plan for tomorrow!

Today it starts, day one of the rest of my life. I am currently 223lbs, I have decided it's time for a change. My weight is out of control. After researching different programs, pills, and quick fixes, I have chosen intermittent fasting as the way to go for me. There are 5 different methods and the one I felt best for me, my lifestyle, and my goals is known as updown.
The goal for me is to consume 1200-1500 calories in a 6-8hr period on an up day then go 18-24 hours consuming 300-500 calories. Ironically I actually did this 10yrs ago and didn't even realize it was a thing! If followed properly I could lose 2-3lbs a week, putting me at my goal weight by my 39th birthday in July!
