Day 1
994 / noon to 7pm / 70 oz.
I got really hungry last Tuesday and indulged in rotisserie chicken.
Decided to loosen up the IF a bit and gauge my portions by how hungry I felt. That lasted through Friday, and after an episode of re-flux and feeling some bloat, I climbed back on the wagon. I'm going to have to do this for a long while in order to imprint the living habits of limiting my portions and eating within sensible hours of the day.

Break-fast: HB egg 70, 1/2 yam 141, last portion of beef stew 267, 1.5 oz cheddar 173, 23 wheat thins@10 ea for 230, = 881. This meal is better than how I used to eat. But it shows I'm not ready to relax the strict accounting of food intake.

Very happy to see the scale needle moving down, even if only by a half pound. Theses challenges have helped me to stay focused. I get a sense that I had been sleep-eating for several years, with periods of severe dieting, only to see-saw up and down from week to week. Now that I pay attention to my portions, count calories, and no longer eat late at night, I am seeing slow but steady progress.
