Gotta say that I am proud of myself for sticking to a workout plan. I even managed to go over the weekend. I am now up to 30 minutes on the arc trainer. Considering I started out only able to do 5 minutes. It burns more calories than the treadmill or the bike! I get a minimum of 30 minutes of cardio a day now, and on alternate days I try to get 45-60 minutes. I am hoping that I will start to see some real results soon. I do need to kick up my eating habits tho.
I feel better than I have in years, and I contribute that to finally taking time for me. As a mother you know that it has always been about everyone else. But then I realized that I don't have little kids anymore. My youngest is 19 and away at college. Why am I still using them as an excuse? Well guess what? NO MORE! If you are hungry and can't wait for me, then make it yourself. Do your own laundry! I have clean clothes. I really don't care if you have to turn your underwear inside out in order to have something half way clean to where. It is time you learned!

OK so my weight has remained the same. Not bad considering I didnt weign in last week because we went to bike week in OCMD. For exercise we walked everywhere and I really did make a mental note of what I was ordering when we ate. Gotta say I am kinda proud of myself for this. Usually I make a lame excuse like, "Well its only this week and I will get back on track."

My feet have always given me trouble when I walk. Sometimes it gets so bad that I can barely walk when I take my shoes off. This does not help when you are trying to get some cardio on the treadmill. So last night my daughter dragged me to the mall and bought me a pair of Nike Shox (I am cheap and would not spend $100 on sneakers). I think these sneaks may really help me. They feel good so far. Thanks honey!!
