Where I work we have a popcorn machine. Coincedently...my favorite food is popcorn.
Today....I did NOT eat popcorn.....lol.
I make it more days without it...but let me tell ya, its tough. Especially when I am sitting in the conference room, WHILE its popping...trying to resist. It is quite the accomplishment for me...lol

I'm setting some goals for the weekend...
1) When I go out to eat tonight, try something healthy--thats NOT a salad. Which I'm nervous....because you never know what food is made out of in a restaurant.
2) Dont drink too much on Friday Night.
3) Wake up and go to spinning class (9:00)....bonus, if I wake up even earlier and go to Studio Strength (8:00) class AND spinning
4) Dont eat unhealthy on saturday. A bunch of friends are going ice fishing (Yea...I'm not so sure about it either)...I dont want to eat bar food. or drink too much again (I swear, I'm not a lush!)
5) Sunday....workout. Just a simple run or something. Maybe even outside?!?!? GASP--I better check the weather:)

My Story....request from my FIRST fat secret friend:)
Lets see....I'm 23 years old, almost 24 (GASP! lol) and I am an okay weight of 145, I am about 5'6''...so nothing that I am totally upset about. but, I’ve dealt with weight for a long time...I've never really been happy with my figure. Instead of complaining about it, I finally have worked to start making some changes. I am an active person in general...I like to play sports, etc. I played sports all through high school as well as recreationally in college and Post College. But the older I get the harder it is to keep the weight off...which means I need to start working harder to counteract age creeping up on me. Don’t get me wrong, I know I am still young, but life is flashing before my eyes, and I want to acquire this type of activity NOW, instead of when I am past the point.
I grew up with my mother being MINI. She still is at the fresh age of 51. But she works at it, so I can’t be jealous of her...but literally, to have your mother is more fit and in shape/active then you....that’s just silly. So she’s kind of my inspiration. I want to be like my mom when I am 50.
So in turn....I want to be fit. I want to lose these last 10-15 lbs so I can TRULY be happy with myself...or at least the way I look. It’s something I want to prove to myself. I have a boyfriend who I absolutely love and cherish and is truly the best thing that has ever happened to me...but of course, he doesn’t really care about what he eats...so it’s hard for me to plan around that. My girlfriends...of course they are there...but they aren’t too active/working out-wise...so I don’t like talking to them about it.
But since August I have truly become committed to working out. Even my bf is impressed I am sticking with it. I joined a gym in August, and I go directly from work to the gym, which I think has really helped me. Stopping at home ALWAYS encouraged me to think..."ohhhh...I don’t REALLY have to go today, do I?"
I have acquired new hobbies; I go to spinning classes at my gym, which I LOVE! I also on occasion go to kickboxing/basic training classes to spice things up...AND I ran my first 5K last month with my bf, and will run my second on Feb 9th!
So here is a synopsis of my life....kind of:)
I'm looking for someone to talk to, vent to, give motivation to, get/give tips to, or just talk about life----with a stranger:)
