I felt hungry today. I have been doing pretty well with less than 1400calories and not feeling empty. Today I prepared one of my favourite desserts: plantain cake (142kcal per portion). It will be a test of restraint as my son -who lives with me- does not like sweets.
Have not weighed myself, I plan to do it monthly or fortnightly as do not want to be a slave of the scales. As long as I stick to a healthy intake I trust I’ll be fine. Planning to do about an hour of walking tomorrow too.

Yay! An actual reading of my weight today. About 10 month ago I was 89.

On my third day of this quest and feeling extremely well! Not feeling hungry and realising that when I have “that feeling” it is not hunger: it is just boredom.
Am being very careful to balance my foods, so proteins and fats are balanced.
Am trying to research for foodstuff that is filling, rich in protein and tastes well; so far I discovered I have lentils and quinoa and I’ll use them more.
People here seem to be normal: which is friendly, supportive, honest and empathetic.
This is a good place to share!

Started yesterday. Put a starting weight of 87kg although have not weighed myself in a long time.
Very sedentary at the moment with the added problem of chronic pain plus exacerbated left knee and hands pain.
Feeling ok although at night I am a bit peckish. Have not sinned.
Drinking water!
