still too many calories, or underestimating calories in food I am eating? one or the other! difficult to match foods on fatsecret list with what I have available here in SA. But am going to keep at it. Writing in the journal, and and entering daily foods helps keep me focussed, and determined to carry on.

hello, not doing too well! last couple of days have been using the number of recommended Kcals, but I think it is too much, as I gained weight. So, as from today, having done some internet research, am cutting down my energy intake. It is so easy to kid myself and not accept that I must eat less! I love to eat!
Dr Phil says "you cannot change what you do not acknowledge" - I think he is right!
Another thing I am finding a problem is matching the foods on the fatsecret list with the foods we have here in South Africa when entering the foods consumed. Maybe I am under-estimating the energy content! Anyway, will not give up - again!

Happy to lose today, in spite of not being able to eat as planned yesterday. Load shedding put paid to that. But managed to eat reasonably well anyway.It helps to plan the day's food.

Good Day to you diary! Here we go, again! I am looking forward to recording regular weight loss on your pages! Next Monday is the next day to record my weight. I think recording everything I eat is going to be a big PLUS.
