Now that Thanksgiving is over, I feel that I should start tightening up a bit concerning my diet. I have been pretty lackadaisical ever since my parents visited. I've weighed the same weight pretty much for a whole month, give or take a few pounds here and there. I have FIFTEEN pounds to my *dream* weight, a weight at which I will be able to fit into more Japanese sized clothes. My goal was to only lose five more, but I don't think I'd see much of a difference in just five teeny tiny little pounds. Who knows?
What I do know is that I NEED to start working out. The pathetic state that Ella has left my body in is DEPLORABLE. My skin looks like that of an 80 year old, and my muscles? Hah! What muscles?!!? Starting in December, I'm going to start doing light calisthenics everyday to help prepare myself for what's to come next year: Resolutions, baby.

Well I haven't really been watching what I'm eating recently, and the scale reflects no progress. Today was Thanksgiving, so of course I stuffed myself, plus I had some alcohol, so we'll see what happens. As usual, I'm not *too* worried.

My parents are here, so I haven't really been hungry, which surprises me. We've gone out to eat for at least one meal pretty much every day they have been here, which has been a week so far. I force myself to eat, because my mom thinks I'm too skinny, and I know she thinks I'm starving myself, which is awful because I'm completely not. I think it's just my nerves.

Well, I gained 1.4 pounds back. Recently, I indulged in a little bit too much of the brownie batter because, hey, for nine months, I wasn't able to do so because of the raw egg and the dangers it posed to my unborn child, so I figured I deserved to go a little off the deep end. And, I did deserve it. I don't see how it put almost a pound and a half on me (that's what, 5,250 calories?), and at first, I was upset with myself, but, thinking back on it now, why? I'm 118 pounds, I have no reason to be upset. I can't even work out yet, and it's not like I can truly "restrict" myself because I have a child to think of (breastfeeding.) So for now, I'm content with where I am.
