I am a mother in my 30's that has been obsessed with her weight for years. I was always a smaller person, but in the past 4-5 years, my weight has been all across the board. Last year after a weight gain of 15lbs in 1 month, I was diagnosed with hypothyroid and just last month, my thyroid medication was increased:(
I have been obsessed with my weight because unless I don't have a round, bulging tummy, a wide behind and large thighs, I don't feel good about myself.
My biggest struggle is twizzlers and chocolate. I can NEVER say no to these foods and I have to learn to say no and reward myself with these treats in MODERATION.
In the past I have tried Weight Watchers and it help me lose a few pounds, but I felt so deprived of food, so hungry all the time and exercising constantly and I lost 4 pounds over a span of about 3 months:(
I am looking for some buddies that are in the same boat as me: needs motivation at times, willing to provide motivation, willing to share new information on diet and exercise, etc.
I currently want to lose 40-50 lbs. I would love to lose 60 pounds but 40 pounds is within my healthy weight and I'd be more than content with that!!!
