Hello, I'm Tracey and I'm 37. I am a recipient of a double organ transplant that occurred in 2007, to sustain healthy organs, I take quite a few medications, including prednisone, a steroid that does "help" me gain a bit of weight. Last year I suffered from a foot infection and almost lost my big toe. Healing took a long long time due to my compromised immune system. During the four months I was off of my foot, I was unable to get up and walk or exercise. Since I couldn't just not eat, I did gain weight and I am now healthy enough to work on getting rid of it! I may not look too overweight because I am nearly 6 feet tall, but I do have extra blubber for me and I would like to slim down, feel better, have my clothes fit better and be the healthiest I can be for myself and my transplanted organs I received!
