The first time I did atkins, I weighed 235 lbs, I got down to 130 and felt I was too thin, so gained some back. I stayed within my weight for quite a long time (5 years) but some life circumstances, caused me to turn to the wrong foods for comfort. I knew better but wasn't able to help myself. I quit smoking and allowed myself to eat things I didn't need, and the excuse was I'm earning it, I know better now. I have been back on the plan for a little over a month now and feel absolutely energized. I do more on my day off than I ever have, walking the puppy twice a day, gardening, and heavy cleaning. I just have more energy.
