I am a married mother of 2 - ages 2 1/2 and 6 1/2. I am a "stay-at-home" and a part time Master's of Ed. student. I feel like I have been hyper aware of my weight, food, and my body since I was 5 or 6 years old.
I lost weight through W.W. twice - once before my first pregnancy and once after. Each time I lost more than 50 lb. and at my lowest I was down to 200 (I swear I have aversion to success - I stopped going before I ever dipped below that "magic" number). I am now somewhere between my lowest and highest adult weights (I was nearly 300 lb. in the mid 1990s) and I know that my weight is a health risk so I am trying to do something positive. Since money is tight and I am not successful on W.W. long-term, I really don’t want to spend the weekly fee. I know how to eat for weight loss (consume less than you burn) so I am going to try to employ W.W. principles, common sense, and the support and routine of this site.
